Want to get to know the rest of the members? We have a lot of work going on than just the work of one asset modeler. Here you can see some of the progress of the other group members that has been uploaded to our shared message board.

This is an asset done by Karina for the Mayor's room. We wanted to have a lot of tightly-packed scrolls around his room, and there's the added bonus of seeing the UVs in this one.

This is an asset done by Davis, with the added bonus of seeing St. G's base mesh for scale. This cobblestone wall will be used in the town, along with other places such as the Maypr's walls.

This is a textured asset done by Ethan as a test. We're still working on textures, but this is a great show of texturing prowess by Ethan using substance designer and painter. This asset will be used throughout the town.

These are some procedural-modeled books by Evan, which will be used throughout the Dragon's cave, and most likely as background for the Mayor's office to make it seem more lived-in.

Here is one of the many background jars that Davis modeled for us. It's simple and exactly what we need to help places seem more believable. These assets will probably be used around a variety of scenes as well.

Here's what everyone's been looking forward to seeing: the Dragon's lair! This is a progress picture uploaded by Zach of the most important environment that we have for this short. There is a stand-in for St. George at the bottom/front of the cave. There are book stacks scattered everywhere and you can see the chandeliers that the dragon will be lighting up to read his books.

Here is the basic base mesh of St.G himself. Karina modeled the basics before handing over the model to Christina to finish, which you will see below. This version is, of course, St. George without his armor.

These are some mock-ups that Christina drew of St. George's face before she started anything on the model. There were quite a few iterations of his face before we got where we were with him.

Here's a more recent look at St. George's face. You can see Christina's sketch behind him to show where the hair might go and basic eyebrows modeled on. There has been a lot of progress and changes on St. George throughout this process.

Of course, we can't forget the dragon, modeled by Christina! Here we have his basic base mesh along with a mock-up of his hair along his chin, back of neck, tail, and a few tufts on his legs and arms. Here he's also wearing his iconic glasses. The wings here are also stand-ins, as we are going to try using muscle systems to get those working properly. The Dragon is also fully rigged and getting a little bit of sculpting.
