'St. George and the Dragon', or 'Dragon' for short, is a student-run animated short about the classic story of St. George and the Dragon, but with our own special twist!

About Dragon 2020: Video

This story is based off of the open domain story, “Saint George and the Dragon.” Our story follows a boastful knight, as he is given a quest to confront and kill an evil dragon. However, when he arrives to the dragon’s cave, a courteous dragon confronts him instead. The dragon is not vicious like he was rumored to be. He befriends the knight and convinces him to sit for a while, giving the knight a book to read. The two spend countless hours together, reading and bonding. When the knight returns to the town, he brings back a book from the dragon’s cave as well as a new poster. This poster announces that the old dragon has been slain and that a new dragon, that just happened to be an exotic bookkeeper, has now opened a library for the public to enjoy.
