Last Semester/Pre-Production Work

After we decided on the story and came up with a basic shot list, the artists of the group started on concept art and story-boarding the short.

Here's a compilation of some of the concept art of the Dragon, along with the final orthographics.

Of course, we can't forget our main knight! Here's the concept art for St. George's armor, along with various accessories that St. George comes with. I have also added on the final orthographics and updated views of him.

The storyboard came before everything, of course. This storyboard followed a shot list written by Johnny, with art from Davis and Christina. The St. George here is much different from our final version of the knight. The dragon looks about the same, though perhaps a lot larger than he turned out.

After we finished the storyboard, we got to work on the animatic, a combined effort of three artists: Christina, Karina, and myself. This animatic was finished just before the end of last semester.
