May has been very complicated as you all know! I've been working hard in the meantime, continuing on facial animation for Saint George and starting the facial animation for Dragon/Theodore. Keep in mind, none of these are really in order of which camera goes first, but the order of when I animated them.

Camera E240

Saint George sees the old poster of the "evil" dragon. He tosses it away to show his trust in the dragon.

Camera B010-090

This is the first time we really see George in action! This is Saint George confronting the lizard and getting scared. I included one gif that's kind of silly, centered on his face while he moves.

Camera E100

Saint George wakes up in a place he doesn't recognize.

Camera E250

Here, George is showing the new poster to the Mayor(?). There is a strange shadow over the mesh in these playblasts because the mesh wasn't smoothed, but the animation during the "shadow" isn't important to the scene.

In this scene, Saint George is protecting the Dragon from the Mayor.

Dragon animation

All of dragon's animation is done without his glasses on so that his eyes are visible.

Camera D090

Here, the Dragon (AKA Theo) first sees Saint George. Terrified, he screams and turns away quickly, his tail smacking Saint George against a rock and knocking him out in the process. I've included a front and back view along with the face camera.

The Dragon turns around to look at what he's done, then realizes that Saint George dropped something (the poster demanding for the dragon's head).

After George finally wakes up, the Dragon grabs him some medicine. There's a huge pause in the animation here as this is happening simultaneously to George's movement. So don't worry, the gif isn't frozen!

The Dragon walks over to Saint George with another tray of medicine and a book. These gifs have the same problem as the last, but they pause at the end this time.
